Job Title: Team Lead 2nd Shift Pay Rate: $18 per hour Schedule: Monday Thursday, 3: 30 PM 2: 00 AM
About the Role: Our staffing agency is currently seeking a Team Lead for a well-established textile manufacturing company. This role is responsible for overseeing production operations, ensuring workflow efficiency, and coordinating team activities on the 2nd shift. The ideal candidate will have previous leadership experience in a manufacturing environment
What You will Do: Discuss work orders with the supervisor and machine operators at the beginning of the shift. Ensure that operators have the necessary supplies to complete their tasks. Keep associates engaged and productive throughout the shift. Notify the supervisor promptly if assistance is required. Coordinate with the receiving area for material needs. Contact maintenance in case of machine malfunctions or breakdowns. Print and manage job-related paperwork, including job orders, labels, and forms. Complete and maintain accurate documentation. Enter information into the system (approximately 5% of job duties). Maintain attention to detail to ensure production quality and efficiency
Skills and Experience: Bilingual (English & Spanish) Prior experience in a team leader or supervisory role in a manufacturing or production setting. Strong communication and organizational skills. Ability to multitask and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment. Basic computer skills for data entry and documentation.
